How work changed in the noughties

I love all the newspaper articles at the end of a year reviewing the past 12 months .. and this year of course, reviewing the past decade.

This is a great piece from The Guardian about how our work changed in the first decade of this century.

We are working fewer hours, but only a little more flexibly, and we commute for longer. More women are working but we’re all working longer into our old age. We earn more .. but are we happier?
